This year, in its XVI edition, the annual awards of 20minutes they have grown in their goal and have changed their name to Creators Awards to recognize creativity and outreach capacity of the authors of videos, podcasts, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twich accounts… because the important thing is what the creators say and not so much the technological platform they use to spread their content.

At the gala that took place at Caixaforum, sponsored by Telefónica, Fundación la Caixa, Icárion, Banco Santander, SM, Imagine Energía and Intimina, and with the collaboration of realme, name has been revealed the winning creators in eight categories.

We have also met the big winner of the night, Garuna Effect, who has obtained 5,000 euros and the possibility of joining 20 minutesas well as to the special prize chosen by the public: On route through Madrid. Likewise, the 20minutos Prize was awarded to Carlos López-Otín, National Research Prize and one of the 10 European scientists with the greatest impact on the analysis of the molecular secrets of cancer and ageing.

To this delivery of the Creators Awards Personalities from the world of politics, communication, culture and business have attended. The event was attended by Fernando de Yarza-López Madrazo, president of 20 minutes and of Henneo, and also of the Second Vice President of the Government and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Diaz; the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegría; the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta; in addition to the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoand the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, among others.
