Doctors conducted preliminary tests after the death of 33-year-old mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Alexander Pisarev. As the results showed, the watermelon did not cause poisoning, and then the death of the athlete, as previously reported. This refutes the Telegram channel “112”. According to the source, the wife of the fighter, who also ended up in the hospital, said that the day before she and her friends drank wine and ate incomprehensible dried mushrooms. The final results of the examination will be ready in 2-3 weeks.

Recall that the fighter was hospitalized on Sunday October 30 in Moscow. As his coach Magomed Kamilov said, Pisarev became ill. Alexander passed away yesterday.

In MMA, the fighter has three wins and two losses. Pisarev competed at RCC and Fight Nights tournaments. The last fight was held in February 2020, then he lost to Maxim Usoyan.

He is the champion of Moscow in hand-to-hand combat, the champion of Moscow in grappling, the champion of the Central Federal District in MMA and the finalist of the European Championship in MMA.
