Former head coach of Khimki near Moscow, Sergey Yuran, said he was ready to lead the Russian national team if Valery Karpin resigned. The specialist believes that in 2026 the national team will be able to return to international competitions, and he is ready to prepare the national team for this.

“If they offer to lead the Russian national team, I will definitely consider it. I’m ready to consider, why not? Now is the time to work fruitfully with the Russian national team: there are many talented young people, we need to hold many friendly matches. No need to sprinkle ashes on your head that there is no World or European Championship. Anyway, we will return to Europe!” – RB-Sport quotes Yuran.
