The cities of Donbass will be restored within two to three years, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. According to him, it is planned to use up to 60,000 builders for these purposes, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
He explained that about two thousand facilities are currently in operation in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. About 200 are rented weekly. However, the volume of work is very large and 32,000 builders are not enough to complete them.
I believe that it is necessary to increase the number of involved builders to 50-60 thousand people, then in two or three years we will restore these regions,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Earlier, Khusnullin said that Russia could attract up to 50,000 builders from the DPRK to resolve “point issues.” According to him, this practice will not become widespread. The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that Russia has always focused on the CIS countries when attracting labor resources and did not consider more distant markets. However, Korean tilers work much faster than Russian ones, despite the fact that their market is considered closed.
