By the anniversary of Dalnegorsk, a new renovated model library named after Ksenia Bogatskaya was opened in the city, reports news agency DEITA.RU. As told in the regional government, the repair was carried out after the victory of the library staff in the All-Russian competition. The funds were allocated from the federal budget. The regional Government and the administration of Dalnegorsk also provided support. Alexey Cheblukov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Archival Affairs of the Primorsky Territory, attended the opening of the library and congratulated the staff on the significant event, emphasizing that the opening would serve as an impetus for the modernization of the entire library system of the city. The premises of the library have been updated with new color schemes and combining them with regional color. The interior space of the library has also changed. Now it can hold mass events for children. A cozy literary veranda appeared, a literary cafe was organized in the coffee zone. The reading room is equipped with study areas with desktop computers and access to electronic resources. Also, preparatory work was carried out with specialists who underwent advanced training. Recall that within the framework of the state program “Development of Culture of the Primorsky Territory”, four libraries in major cities of the region were updated last year. This year, libraries are being updated in Partizansk and Fokino.
