Fran Perea continues with the launch of One plus one is 20the project that is gathering tracks from their first two albums (The girl in the next room Y New paragraph) for the 20th anniversary of their first album and The Serranos. For this reason, the artist continues to release songs and has just released his fourth collaboration, What’s it gonna bewith The Ear of Van Gogh.

This song was included in his first album, released in 2003, and, in fact, it was Originally created by Xabier San Martín, keyboardist and composer of La Oreja de Van Gogh. Now, 20 years later, this same song unites them again to create this new version, with video clip included.

“For us, What’s it gonna be It is one of those songs that is no longer made… It tells a story, an emotional story in which most of us have seen ourselves reflected to a greater or lesser extent”, highlights San Martín. Regarding the musical production proposed by Fran and his team, the composer thinks “brave and groundbreaking, precisely because it is radically classic: a band with its bass, its drums, its amps… Nowadays it is not usual to hear something like this on fashion stations”.

“In La Oreja de Van Gogh, we fully identify with that spirit and that is why It has been a real pleasure to accept this invitation to sing and play this song from that iconic album with Fran Perea”, stresses San Martín.

This theme is the fourth belonging to One plus one is 20album for the anniversary produced by Fran Perea, Víctor Elías (Guille in The Serranos) and Eduardo Figueroa. The project will be released in its entirety in 2023, with a tour included.

Until now, the singer had released three collaborations: I will think of you (with Ana Guerra), Count on me (with Bely Basarte) and New paragraph (with Alvaro Benito). Y What’s it gonna be thus becomes the fourth track on the album.
