Robe Iniesta announced this Wednesday that on November 19 he will hold a concert at the Wizink Center in Madrid as a finishing touch to the tour with his current band, Robe, after which it will make “an indefinite stop”.
titled Now is when, the tour started in september 2021 and hung the sold-out sign wherever it went, with a first part made up of 21 dates in 3 months that were added to the thirty long commitments held in 2022 with similar sales success.
All these concerts have served to present the album Maieutics (2021), Robe’s fourth, his current musical project, after What flutters in our heads (2015), Shatter you, songs for the end of time (2016) and welcome to the storm (direct from 2018).
During it, the former Extremoduro leader was supported by Álvaro Rodríguez (piano and hammond), Carlitos Pérez (violin), Alber Fuentes (drums), Woody Amores (guitar) and David Lerman (bass).
As specified by his office in a press release, tickets to attend the last date of the tour will go on sale this coming ThursdaySeptember 22, starting at 12 in the morning.
Despite Robe’s “indefinite stoppage” announced in the statement, Iniesta himself revealed to Eph last June that has enough material for an upcoming album and, when asked if it would see the light in 2023, he replied with a laconic: “Sure”.
